  Dolly Dawn was an extremely popular big band vocalist whose honey sweet, smooth as silk voice was broadcast live from New York City's Taft Hotel, six days a week on CBS radio across America in the late 1930 's and early 40' s with George Hall & His Orchestra. Dolly later formed her own band from members of Hall's orchestra called "Dolly Dawn and Her Dawn Patrol". She was one of the first vocalists to become the primary focus of a band, at a time when musicians and featured soloists were the main draw, and was a widely acknowledged influence on Ella Fitzgerald and other aspiring big band vocalists. This rare 45RPM single was recorded in 1964 and find's Dolly reprising her classic hits "I'm Through with Love" and "Runnin' Wild". All selections newly re-mastered.
