This is a rematch of the 2000 Rose Bowl, won 17-9 by Wisconsin. Star tailback Montee Ball is among the Badgers who will be playing in their third Rose Bowl. The Badgers have lost each of the last two Rose Bowls and hope the third time is the charm. The Cardinal beat the UCLA Bruins in the Pac-12 Championship Game to advance to their first Rose Bowl since 2000.
